This policy explains what data Chamak collects, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Data we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, city, UPI ID.
- Business profile (advertisers): brand name, category, address.
- Campaign & share activity: clicks, leads, location of share (coarse).
- Payments: processed by our payment gateway; we do not store full card details.
- Device & logs: IP, browser, basic device info for security and analytics.
How we use it
- Run the platform — match campaigns, verify shares, pay creators.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Send transactional notifications (you cannot opt out of these while using the Service).
- Improve the product (aggregate analytics only).
Sharing
We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe / Razorpay etc.), cloud hosting (Supabase / Cloudflare), and authorities when legally required.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 8 years to meet Indian tax law.
